On February 26, 2025, U.S. Chassis Manufacturers Coalition filed a petition for the imposition of antidumping and countervailing duties on the imports of Chassis from Mexico, Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Coalition is comprised of two companies: Cheetah Chassis Corporation and Stoughton Trailers LLC. The petition alleges dumping margins of 32.37% (Mexico), 234.06% (Thailand), and 304.68% (Vietnam). The petition identifies certain foreign producers/exporters and U.S. importers of the investigated product.
The merchandise covered by these investigations consists of chassis and subassemblies thereof,
whether finished or unfinished, whether assembled or unassembled, whether coated or uncoated, regardless of the number of axles, for carriage of containers, or other payloads (including self-
supporting payloads) for road, marine roll-on/roll-off (RORO) and/or rail transport. Please see the petition for a more detailed description of the covered merchandise and exclusions.
The projected date of the International Trade Commission’s Preliminary Conference is March 19, 2025. The earliest theoretical date for retroactive suspension of liquidation for AD is May 7, 2025; CVD is March 18, 2025.
