Eve Q. Wang, a resident partner in Washington, D.C., focuses her practice on international trade remedies. Since 2016, Eve has represented foreign producers, U.S. importers, foreign governments, and trade associations in numerous antidumping and countervailing duty (ADD/CVD) proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Eve has served as senior counsel to mandatory respondents in cases spanning more than a dozen industries, such as mobile access equipment; crystalline silicon cells; copper pipe and tube; passenger vehicle and light truck tires; and corrosion inhibitors. Notably, Eve has successfully obtained for clients negative injury determinations in the ADD/CVD investigations on fabricated structural steel from China, polytetrafluoroethylene (“PTFE”) resin from China, and steel nails from Sri Lanka, which resulted in no duties.
Before joining GDLSK, Eve worked for six years as a senior international trade enforcement and compliance analyst in the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Prior to her trade remedy experience, Eve served as a judicial law clerk to the late Honorable John C. Yoder in the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. Prior to that position, Eve worked as a research analyst in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Eve also had short stints in several federal agencies including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission during and after law school.
Before embarking on her legal career, Eve worked as a junior business executive with a publicly traded company in California. Having been raised and educated in China, Eve reads and writes Mandarin fluently and speaks Cantonese natively. Eve resides in Washington, DC with her husband and two children.
