CBP has issued a Notice reminding the brokerage community that the Customs Broker User Fee Payment for 2024 is due no later than February 9, 2024. The fee is assessed for each permit held by a broker, whether it may be an individual, partnership, association, or corporation. The annual user fee is $174.80 for each permit.  Beginning November 29, 2023, the annual user fee can be paid via the eCBP portal or sent to the appropriate Processing Center (i.e., the Broker Management Officer (BMO) based upon the physical port location through which the license and national permit are issued). Licensed individuals who do not hold a permit are not required to pay this fee.
