Upcoming GDLSK Presentations on CBP’s Enforcement of The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA)

On July 7^th, Arthur Bodek will be presenting at a program for the U.S. Fashion Industry Association entitled “CBP Forced Labor Import Enforcement: What to Expect under the UFLPA and Beyond!”  Issues addressed will include the key provisions under the UFLPA, importer obligations, comparisons with the “Withhold Release Order” forced labor program, and how the trade and CBP and other agencies might better work together to combat importations of goods made with forced labor.  Further information and registration can be found here.
