The U.S. Department of Commerce today published notice of the final results of the first administrative review of the antidumping duty (ADD) order on passenger vehicle and light truck (PVLT) tires from Thailand, covering entries between January 2021 and June 2022. GDLSK client, Sentury Tire (Thailand) Co., Ltd., was assigned a final ADD rate of 1.24% – which represents a substantial reduction of the 17.06% ADD cash deposit rate that was paid upon entry. As a result of this successful representation, importers of PVLT tires exported by Sentury Tire will receive refunds of ADD paid on their PVLT entries. If you have questions about this review or would like additional information, please contact GDLSK attorneys Ned Marshak or Eve Q. Wang.
