Harold M. Grunfeld is a founding partner of the Firm whose practice is concentrated in Customs and International Trade Law. Mr. Grunfeld has represented clients extensively in civil and criminal investigations, as well as Qui Tam investigations involving the Customs laws.
Mr. Grunfeld also regularly represents clients before the various administrative agencies governing imports into the United States particularly in matters involving classification and valuation and Customs audits. He represents clients before U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the Court of International Trade. Mr. Grunfeld regularly counsels clients in connection with the complexities of their international structures and the balancing of Customs duties and tax consequences.
Mr. Grunfeld has been a regular speaker on issues involving customs matters and their impact on the business community.
