Amanda Simpson


Amanda Simpson is an Associate in the Firm’s New York office. Her practice is focused on customs and trade law. Ms. Simpson has assisted in first sale valuations, Dominican Republic—Central America—United States Free Trade Agreement benefits eligibility, merchandise classification under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, and the regulation of wildlife products.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Simpson worked in merchandising and production of men’s and women’s apparel at Armani Exchange. As a law student, she spent two years interning with GDLSK in addition to performing internships with the general counsel offices of Stuart Weitzman, LLC and Gucci America, Inc. In her final year of law school, Ms. Simpson completed a field study on export laws and export controls in Havana, Cuba.
